At Timber Pest Control, we take pride in not only protecting your home — but also respecting your trust. This page outlines the rights and protections you receive as part of our service plans.

1. You Have the Right to Safe & Legal Treatment

We follow all Washington State regulations and apply products in accordance with their intended use and label directions. This includes EPA-registered pesticides as well as professional-grade tools, lures, and exempt products used for monitoring, prevention, or mechanical control. Our team is trained to use all materials responsibly, with your safety and peace of mind as a top priority.

2. You Can Cancel After One Year

We believe in earning your business every time. That’s why you’re never locked into a long-term contract — if, after one year of visits regardless of the service type, you want to stop service, you can cancel at any time without penalty.

3. You're Protected by Our Service Guarantee

If pests return between scheduled visits, we’ll come back and re-treat at no additional charge—as long as your service plan includes free reservices at that time.

If you’ve already used your included reservices and still need additional treatment, you can request another visit for just $30 per service.

And if we can’t resolve your issue within three consecutive follow-ups, you’re always free to cancel your plan—no penalties, no pressure.

4. You Don’t Have to Be Home for Exterior Treatments

We know you’re busy. If we provide at least three days' notice, you don’t have to be present for exterior services. We’ll leave you a clear record of what was done and what we found.

5. You’re Always in Control of Your Service

Any portion of the service provided through any of our service agreements — including interior treatments, exterior applications, or reservice visits — may be refused by you at any time. However, declining included services (those provided at no additional cost) may affect the service guarantee if pest activity continues in untreated areas. This may also limit the effectiveness of our treatments.

We’ll always note your preferences and adjust your services respectfully, while keeping you informed of potential impacts.

6. You Can Ask Questions at Any Time

We’re happy to explain what we’re applying, why we’re applying it, and how it works. Just ask — it’s your home, and we want you to feel as confident in everything we do as we are.

7. You’re a Partner in Prevention

We may provide tips to help reduce moisture, limit food access, clear obstructions touching the home, and seal off potential entry points. When objects or vegetation are in direct contact with the structure, it can block proper treatment and create pest harborage zones. Addressing these issues helps us protect your home more effectively.

Following these steps may also qualify you for bonus perks - such as additional free reservices or discounts. If you have any questions, feel free to ask your technician during their visit.

If we’ve made multiple good-faith efforts to solve a problem and it still isn’t working out, or if expectations become misaligned, we won’t keep you locked into service just to protect ourselves. We’ll be honest about it, talk it through with you, and if needed, part ways respectfully — with no hard feelings and no penalties.
